My son and his friends have found an awesome patch of ice near at the playground down the street, good for a little skating and hockey. After the recent mild it's surface settled in very smooth and sure beats anything I could have made in the backyard. The snow is just starting to fall here, we are in for about 10cm according to the forecast.
Nice perspective on this. Don't believe the forecast! We were supposed to get 5 to 10 cm, we've gotten over 20 so far and it is still snowing. Pretty stormy out, high winds.
